the chronicles of narnia

it's been a while - again : ) ... but just like last time, it doesn't mean that i'm not reading ... actually, i've been devouring narnia (said in a very nasal manner) chronicles ... i've finished "the magician's nephew" way, way back ... last year pa ata ... tas since no book captures my attention from our "mini-library" dito sa bahay and i have this compulsive need to read ... i decided to continue with narnia ... i've finished "the lion, the witch and the wardrobe" and "the horse and his boy" ... i'm at book 4 right now - "prince caspian " ... one of the things that i like about this collection is that it's not really necessary for you to read the previous book ... the author - c.s. lewis - gives some kind of explanation if there will be a reference about something or somebody dun sa naunang libro ... i also like the simplicity of these books ... saka it's such a breath of fresh air to be reading something na may fantasy ... makes me feel younger ("young" pa naman kasi ako) ...
